Despite calling it quits last year, New Jersey hardcore group The Banner are getting ready to record new music. They'll head into Stained Glass Studios with producer Jeremy Comitas in January to create Born to Ruin: The Way Is Shut, which is expected to be the first in a series of EPs to come out on Melotov Records throughout 2012.

Melotov Records will also begin doing vinyl represses of The Banner's previous records, starting with a 12-inch picture disk for their 2005 full-length Each Breath Haunted.
