Phoenix, AZ's Down By Fire is hitting the studio this week to record a new EP, their first new release since the 2006 full-length Reignition. The band will be working out of the locally-based HourGlass Studios.

Down By Fire is also playing a show on December 23, their first in over two years, at The Fixx Coffee Shop in Tempe. They'll share the stage with Orange County's Media Blitz, as well as Move Forward and Step Aside. Full details are available here.
