Legendary U.K. Two-Tone band Madness have helped produce a musical, appropriately named, Our House. The band connected with playwright Tim Firth on the project. Our House, the story of 16 year old petty-thief Joe and two parallel lines of consequence, premiered Monday evening in London. Check the website for more info on the show times, cast and crew and more. Madness contributed two new songs to the project as well as a collection of their back catalogue.
Madness will be touring England in December and are planning to record another album. Singer Graham "Suggs" McPherson commented to Rolling Stone "It's still the very early days… but we've been talking to people at Trojan [Records] about doing a pure ska-ish reggae album, a back-to-the-roots kind of thing."
