Following weeks of back and forth mystery between New England-based Topshelf Records and California's No Sleep Records, and a mysterious Topshelf Vs. No Sleep countdown, the labels have unveiled their plans: a 20-song compilation CD featuring new, unreleased, rare, or b-side tracks from artists on the labels' rosters. The compilation, Topshelf Vs. No Sleep: 2,995 Miles Between Us, will be sold exclusively through Hot Topic stores, and is due out May 22nd, 2012.

In addition to the 20 songs on the CD, the compilation will come with a code for a 50-song digital download, as well as a chance to win a "golden ticket." Golden ticket prizes include Topshelf or No Sleep vinyl subscriptions, label merch, and more.
