Melvins Lite, the three-piece incarnation of the sludge metal titans Melvins, are hitting the road this fall. The band is making an attempt to break the record for Fastest US Tour in the famed Guinness Book of World Records. King Buzzo said of the ambitious tour: "We figured it was time for us to do something really crazy… Jeez! I wonder if we can do it?"

The tour kicks off in Anchorage, Alaska on September 5th, and wraps up in Honolulu, Hawaii on October 25th.
