Bad Brains: A Band In DC is a full-length documentary focusing on Bad Brains' history and cultural impact through archival footage and interviews. The film is screening as part of AFI's annual SilverDocs taking place in Silver Spring, Maryland this week. The screening on Thursday night will be followed with a Q&A with the filmmaker. Also screening at SilverDoc is Don't Stop Believin': Everyman's Journey, featuring Filipino singer Arnel Pineda, who was discovered on YouTube and then became the new frontman of Journey. Additionally, The Punk Syndrome, featuring Pertti Kurikan Nimipäivät (Pertti Kurikka's Name Day), a punk band of mentally challenged individuals, will be showing twice during the festival. And also, American Juggalo, a short documentary about the fans of Insane Clowne Posse, will be screened during this week.
