Watford hardcore outfit Gallows have released the video to 'Last June', the first track to be taken from their forthcoming self-titled full length, due on the 10th/11th of September from Bridge Nine Records. The track is available as a free download here.
The video intersperses live footage with clips of riot police from a range of countries, including some clips of officers involved in violent clashes with citizens, often with the police meting out the damage. The chorus, repeating "A.C.A.B., until last June, meant nothing to me!", considered in conjunction with the footage, appears to reference the abbreviation of the longstanding anti-police slogan, 'All Coppers Are Bastards'. The second half of that sentence appears more difficult to pin down, considering just how many anti-austerity demonstrations, in which riot police became involved, occurred during June of 2011. Feel free to submit your guesses in the comments.
