Deep Elm Records has created an organization called Too Young To Die. What is Too Young To Die, you ask? Well, here's what Deep Elm says about it:
"TOO YOUNG TO DIE was created by Deep Elm and its Artists to support the education, recognition and prevention of youth suicide. Nearly 30,000 people die from suicide each year in America. Disturbingly, suicide is our 11th leading cause of death. Research shows that suicide rates are highest in April, so our bands are hitting the road the month prior to help educate our friends about suicide prevention. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of tickets, samplers and other 2Y2D merchandise will be donated to The American Foundation For Suicide Prevention."
As the statement said, Deep Elm is planning on hitting the road during March and April with a horde of their bands in tow. Brandtson, Red Animal War, Desert City Soundtrack, Settlefish, and David Singer will perform at every show, as well as special guests [to be announced]. Click READ MORE for the tour schedule.
