us that Black Cross, formally Black Widows, have signed to Equal Vision Records. The band recorded their debut full length "Art Offensive" with producer J. Robbins (Burning Airlines, Jawbox) in December. The record should now be available in April. 

In other band news, the planned split with Downpour and Deathwish Inc has been indefinitely delayed by the band's schedule. They hope to complete the project later this year. Three of the songs that were recorded for the split will be released on a limited edition 7" from Initial Records in mid February under the title "Screaming."
