STOMP Records is reporting that their resident trad ska heroes General Rudie will be appearing live nationally (well.. Canada anyways) on CBC Play (part of CBC Newsworld) on January 30th. The band will be performing at Montreal hot spot Le Swimming (3643 St. Laurent) and performing songs from their full length "Cooling The Mark" (review).

General Rudie will also appear on the fourth volume of the "STOMP All Skanadian Club" compilations. The disc hits the streets on February 4th 2003 and features bands like The Planet Smashers, King Kong Girio and King Konqueror. STOMP will be hosting a series of shows at Le Swimming to celebrate, check their site to see what's up.
