According to this article from the Los Angeles Times, the victim has been identified as Los Angeles actress Lana Clarkson, 40, who had been a regular in various Roger Corman films over the past two decades, also appearing in more mainstream fare such as "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" and "Scarface." Spector was released late Monday after posting the million-dollar bail.
