The Ãffect are on the move. The band has a new EP in the works that should be out in May or June on an undisclosed label. The band also has a 12" coming out on Honest In Secret with the new EP on the A side and their Fueled By Ramen released "A Short Dream" EP on the B side. Look for it around the same time. You can hear some demos here. In the meantime the band has contributed a cover of "Boxcar" to the Jawbreaker tribute on Dying Wish Records.
The band will be playing a SXSW show on Saturday, March 15 at Tequila Rock in Austin, TX. They'll be playing with Call And Response, I Am The World Trade Center and VHS or BETA.
