Jade Tree has signed Omaha, Nebraska's Statistics, the new band from Desaparecidos guitarist / songwriter Denver Dalley. Jade Tree's press release tauts the band as expanding upon what Dalley ad accomplished in Desaparecidos, which thorough he and Conon Oberst released an acclaimed album on Saddle Creek a year back. The band is described as "percolating, hushed electro-pop melded with power-rock dynamics and pure, timeless hooks. Recommended for fans of all things Omaha, Smashing Pumpkins, Doves, Pixies and, of course, Desaparecidos." The band's self titled EP comes out on June 17th, the song "Another Day" is available for download.
