On April 3, Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day plans to open a guitar shop in Oakland. It's going to be called Broken Guitars and is co-owned and managed by Bill Schneider, who was in Pinhead Gunpowder with Armstrong.

Schneider stated:

"It’s only been a month since we got the opportunity. It’s now at the moment where I’m getting really excited. It feels real… We want to be a shop for musicians," Schneider said, "The focus is used American guitars: Gretsch, Fender, and not necessarily just vintage ones…"
