A little while ago, staffers Adam White, John Gentile, and Tom Trauma did an entire Episode of the Punknews podcast dedicated to Sandinista!.
Clash week is wrapping up here at Punknews, but we figured we'd re-broadcast the episode while the festivities are still taking place. Click read more to hear three knuckleheads ramble on about a very divisive album.
This episode features some of the early recordings which inspired Sandinista! covers, including James Wayne playing "Junco Partner" from 1951, Mose Allison playing "Look Here" in 1965 and The Equals with "Police on my Back" circa 1968 .
