"We once read somewhere that every seven years all of the cells in our body are completely replaced. If we exist in a perpetual state of renewal then what is that part of us keeps insisting we are still the same "self" from before? What thread in life ties together our past and present making them feel one in the same? Patterns is our best attempt to answer these questions for ourselves."
