Last year, a hologram of Ronnie James Dio performing Dio songs with a live backing band debuted at Wacken. (The vocals were taken from pre-existing tapes). The hologram of Dio will now embark on a Fall and Winter tour called Dio Returns. The hologram was created by effects company Eyellusion. The band states that each night will have a different set list. Tim "Ripper" Owens and Oni Logan are expected to make appearances at a few stops. See the announced dates below.
