Alice Bag will release a new album on March 23 via Don Giovanni records. It's called Blueprint and you can hear the debut single right here. Meanwhile, Alice is filming a music video which will be based upon Dolly Parton’s feature film, 9 to 5. In addition to bag, the video will feature Allison Wolfe of Bratmobile, Shirley Manson of Garbage, Kathleen Hannah of Bikini Kill, and Seth Bogart of Hunx and His Punx. Posts to each person’s respective Instagram indicate the video will loosely follow the plot of the movie. Bogart’s most recent post also added a powerful message behind the work, stating, “I have an idea: instead of equal pay for women - I think they should make MORE than men from now on - pay back for having to deal with all men's bullshit for this many years. Let's let women run the world from now on before we all die , thanks !!”
