According to a recent Facebook post, Suis La Lune have announced that "after 13 years as a band" they have decided to amicably break up. The band last released The First Five Years compilation in 2017 via Tokyo Jupiter Records. You can read the band's announcement below.
Hey everyone!
Suis La Lune have decided to call it quits after 13 years as a band. We're all on good terms, and there have been no falling out. With us living in three different cities, combined with everyday life and obligations, time is hard to come by. We felt this was the right decision instead of going on another long hiatus.
We want to thank all of you who have shown interest in our music throughout the years. You who listened to our songs, came to a show or supported us in any way, thank you! Special thanks goes out to our families, all the promoters and labels who have helped out with shows and records, and of course the bands who have shared stages and vans with us. The last of our merch and records will be sold from Good Job, Dog, Dog Knights Productions and Topshelf Records, be sure to check them out.
These have been special years for us and we're happy to have shared them with you. Love,
Suis La Lune
