In continuation with our Pouzza Fest coverage, we bring to you three more mini-interviews. Pouzza Fest is a kick-ass three-day punk music festival held in Downtown Montreal, Quebec. The festival starts tomorrow and will continue until Sunday. They have about 178 acts set to perform this weekend, including a panel talk, Yoga for punks, and a baseball tournament. Today, we have here some mini interview responses from Boston's Save Ends, Brooklyn's Answering Machine and Paris, France Guerilla Poubelle, see below.

You’re playing Pouzza Fest, Is this your first time playing the festival? How many times have you played before? What makes Pouzza different than any other festivals that make you come back?
Christine: This is the 3rd Pouzza we're playing and probably 5th or 6th for attending. Driving up to Montreal is a relatively short trip to get to see a bunch of bands we love all in one place, hang out with our Canadian buds and drink that apricot beer on the Foufs patio. Plus it's just when the weather stops being shitty in the North East so Pouzza feels a little like the beginning of summertime to me.
Is there a dream lineup for one venue show comprised of bands that are playing this year's Pouzza line up, what would it be?
Against Me!, Worriers, Strung Out, Samiam, Smoking Popes, Smoke or Fire, Timeshares, Sincere Engineer, Expert Timing, Bong Mountain and Laureate.
What are you looking forward to doing in Montreal?
Brendan: We've played and visited Montreal a bunch over the years. So, apart from seeing some rad shows at Pouzza, we're really looking forward to hanging with our Montreal friends that we don't get to see all that often. I'm especially excited to play some cover songs with our good pals in Laureate. That and drinking my fill of some cheap Canadian swill. I'm looking at you Labatt 50.
What do you guys/gals have going on for the band for the rest of 2019?
Christine: In June we're heading to Richmond VA, Brooklyn NY and York, PA with our Boston friends Tied to a Bear (members of Choke up, Landmines, and Jeff Rowe from Boxingwater). Jeff makes incredible beer. If you're ever coming through the Boston area you should check out his brewery, Winter Hill Brewing Company in Somerville. After that we're spending the summer writing then heading down to Gainesville to play FEST 16.

This is our first time playing Pouzza and our first time playing out of the country!

Our dream line up would be: Against Me, Cold Wrecks, Nervous Dater, Night Birds, Bad Cop Bad Cop, Ellen and the Degenerates, Proper, Early Riser, and Worriers.
What are you looking forward to doing in Montreal?
We're looking forward to some great Canadian cuisine.
What do you guys/gals have going on for the band for the rest of 2019?
We're currently working on writing our first full-length album and will be recording by the end of the summer. We were just announced to play The Fest this year, so that too.

We feel very lucky to be a part of such a fun festival with so many good friends from home! We can't wait to see some new music and make some new friends up in Montreal!

You’re playing Pouzza Fest, Is this your first time playing the festival? How many times have you played before? What makes Pouzza different than any other festivals that make you come back?
Yeah, it's our 3rd Pouzza. It's always a great party! It's not the only festival like this but, it feels more like a family reunion than a music festival for me, it's more about the small bands and the DIY community than the big headliners. We see all the friends from the punk scene that we run into all year long; all the local bands that never tours Europe or France…
Is there a dream lineup for one venue show comprised of bands that are playing this year's Pouzza line up, what would it be?
I started to look into the line up just a couple days ago. So far I highlighted only my friend's band that I'm excited to see, and it's a lot!! I guess I would need more than a day and one venue to imagine a dream lineup! Arms Aloft, Lost Love, Pity Party, War on Women, Dead Bars, Spanish Love Song, Happy Accidents, Worriers, Lone Wolf, DeeCracks, Panic Attack, BonVivant, Oktoplut, Direct Hit, Bike Tuff, Bong Mountain, Timeshares, The Penske Files, Crash Ton Rock, Capable, Fortune Cookie Club, Max from Signals Midwest, Guilhem, Danny from Looseys, Sincere Engineer… and of course our friends from France Topsy Turvys and Hightower!
What are you looking forward to doing in Montreal?
I've been in Montreal more than a dozen times, I've seen it all I guess… I'm only here for Pouzza and I'm looking forward to hugging all my friends!
What do you guys/gals have going on for the band for the rest of 2019? More shows, mostly in France and Europe. We're playing FEST 18 in Gainesville to in October too, this will be on my mind after this weekend.

I hope everyone will be safe this weekend, stay close to your friends, speak out against oppressive behaviors. Even if most of us are trying to make this a safe environment I know that this kind of big gatherings can be challenging and overwhelming for those of us who are struggling with anxiety or depression.
