Conflict have stated that they will release a new album and a book in 2020. Singer and sole constant member Colin Jerwood stated: "Thank you all for such amazing ongoing support this year. This really helps and it is much appreciated. 2020 we will complete all the outstanding to create the book and new album. Both will be released during that year. Conflict will also return with live appearances worldwide." The band's last proper LP was There's No Power Without Control in 2003. Before that, the last studio LP of all new material was 1993's Conclusion.
