Billboard is reporting that on November 11th Immortal Records will release a new Christmas themed compilation titled A Santa Cause '03 with proceeds going to the Pediatric AIDS Foundation. Among the 20 bands involved, the compilation will include a track from the Mighty Mighty Bosstones titled "This Time of Year." The track was included as a giveaway to attendees of the band's 2001 Christmas Hometown Throwdown and never commercially released.

Dicky Barrett, frontman of the Boston band (which is currently on an extended break), spoke with Billboard "We usually like to get on board with charities and Pediatric AIDS -- what could tug at your heart strings more? There are people over at Immortal now that we've worked with in the past, so when they asked us, it was an easy decision… We had agreed to do it sight unseen, and the line-up turned out to be pretty damn good." Other bands on the compilation include the Motion City Soundtrack, Further Seems Forever, Something Corporate, Blink 182, New Found Glory, MxPx, Matchbook Romance and Deftones vocalist Chino Moreno.
