Tickets are on sale now for The Weirdos' 26th Anniversary Tour. So far dates have been announced for Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle with more to be added. The band, who claims the title of "Los Angeles' First Punk Rock Band," is on the road in support of their archival release Weird World Volume Two on Frontier Records. From the press statement:

After a four-year gap from the stage, original band members John Denney, Dix Denney and Cliff Roman will be joined by bassist Zander Schloss (Circle Jerks) and drummer Sean Antillion (Gears) for a series of dates in celebration of their twenty-sixth anniversary. Joining The Weirdos on tour will be another original punk rock band from Los Angeles, The Skulls.

"When Frontier Records came to us a few years back to compile our second volume of archival recordings, WEIRD WORLD VOLUME TWO, we planned on doing a twenty-fifth anniversary tour," said vocalist and songwriter John Denney. "But, this being The Weirdos', it took us a little longer than anticipated to pull all the pieces together. Beside, it's much more punk rock to play your twenty-sixth anniversary than your twenty-fifth."
