Pitchfork is reporting that Les Savy Fav have completed recording songs for their nine-volume series of 7" vinyl. The most recent (the 6th overall) was a release of the songs "One Way Widow" and "Yawn Yawn Yawn" through Tiger Style Records. The band has three upcoming 7"s on Monitor, Cold Crush, and Suicide Squeeze in the next few months. The six songs they collectively contain were recorded and mixed with Phil Ek and Chris Zane. As previously reported, all 18 tracks from the 9 records will end up on a compilation from bassist Syd Butler's Frenchkiss Records. The CD is expected in April of 2004.
