us with the following: "San Diego in the early '80s was more than just Battalion of Saints and that other band who you can't remember the name of. There were tons of really good groups who actually put stuff out, mostly on cassette-only and through the legendary Bad Compilation Tapes. SCHEMING INTELLIGENTSIA RECORDS put out the first LP by The Front and Personal Conflict, as well as a bunch of other stuff that wasn't punk rock by a longshot."
The label has returned and has a website at SchemingIntelligentsia.com. They have reissued and remastered Personal Conflict's R.I.P and have original copies of The Front's Man You Gotta Move LP available again. Head to the website for more info.
