Summer Of Ska will take place this year as both a day long festival in Orange, CA and a East / West coast US tour. Bands for the event have not yet been announced but there's a call for submissions from groups that would like to participate. The main event plans to feature 27 ska acts at the Oak Canyon Park on August 7th. The tour will take place 2 weeks prior to the festival and is planned to feature 4-5 bands per show.
"I have been getting tons of emails with everyone asking whats going on with SOS so here is what's up. I just got a location and date for the main event about 2 hours ago. Paper work and all that fun stuff needs to still be taken care of but the day and location is pretty much a sure thing. We are now in the process of booking the bands. Got a band? Want to play?
