There's simply not enough good barroom brawls in our daily news. Billboard, along with a ton of others, are reporting that White Stripes vocalist / guitarist Jack White pleaded guilty to assault and battery yesterday in a Detroit court. This stems from his December 13th fight at the Majestic Theater Center with Von Bondies singer Jason Stollsteimer. White must pay a $500 fine, $250 in court fees and attend anger management classes, but avoided any jail time from the earlier charge of aggregated assault. Check out the article for more details.
Speaking of The Von Bondies, their Sire Records debut Pawn Shoppe Heart was released this week. Head over to their website to stream three of the songs and check out the video for "C'mon C'mon."
