Chris Carrabba said that the song, "Vindicated", which he pushed out in an afternoon, is '…not …about [Spider-Man's alter ego] Peter Parker…For me, it's about something universal: the emotions of being a young adult.' Along with the emo-superstar, Jet and Hoobastank are present on the film's soundtrack."
