Halifax's The New Breed have announced on their newly relaunched website that they're going to be releasing a split with Street Dogs. The New Breed are recording their 3 song contribution this weekend, no word on which label will be putting it out and when. The band's new full length record is almost complete, they've completed mixing and it's now being mastered. Expect it later this year on Thorp Records. Speaking of Street Dogs, the band has reported that they've amicably parted ways with Crosscheck Records and will be signing with another indie very soon. The band now has Bosstones / Frank Black drummer Joe Sirois back behind the kit and they're currently writings songs for a record to be released later this year.
