Hathor, The Wallace Virgil, Bright Light Fever

Gothenburg, Sweden's Hathor has posted "Poison" and "Gun Me Down" on their MySpace page. The songs come from their recently released second full–length, I Need This as Much as a Hole in My Head.

High City Records has set a September 18th release date for the digital release of the Wallace Virgil's debut, Strung Through de Gaulle. You can check out two new tracks on High City's MySpace page.

Bright Light Fever has been dropped by Stolen Transmission/Island Records, and has consequently posted three new demos –– "Monarch," "Te Voy a Matar" and "Welcome to Your Doom" –– on their MySpace page.

The Hallow, Endless Mike and the Beagle Club, Baker

The Hallow has announced the addition of a new guitar player, Harrison, to the band. The band also noted that their EP Seven Liars in Wait will be remastered by Dan Precision (88 Fingers Louie, Rise Against) and re–released in November through Window Licker Records.

Johnstown, PA punk/folk band Endless Mike and the Beagle Club has signed to Crafty Records, out of Brooklyn. Crafty will be re–releasing the band's 2006 full–length The Husky Tenor in time for a South East tour, beginning October 20. The band is currently writing new songs for what will be their third full–length, tentatively scheduled to be released in early 2008, also on Crafty Records.

Topshelf Records has signed Boston, MA act Baker. The label will release the bands 13–track debut full–length Bike Ride in October. You can check out some music from the release on MySpace.

Mistake Us For Friends, Lipona, Exit Only

Mistake Us For Friends will release their debut album in stores and online September 24th. The album, Kill The Composer will be available via Glasgow–based Struck Dum Records. You can check out two tracks at the band's MySpace page.

Florida's Lipona released their 5 song EP, titled Urbi Et Orbi. The EP is available via free download at Rapidshare using this link.

Joe Jitsu, Clearview Kills, Hostage Calm

Beaumont, Texas' Joe Jitsu has posted three songs from their Stephen Egerton produced sophomore record, The Perfect Life online via MySpace. The band describes the album as their ode to the Beach Boys. Egerton guests on the record also, which was recorded at his new Tulsa on the Tulsa studio, Armstrong Recording. Matt Riggle of 41 Gorgeous Blocks also guests.

Pittsburgh's recently reunited Clearview Kills has a new song online titled "Drag The Lake." The song was tracked with engineer Dan Malsch (Punchline, Forever The Sickest Kids) and producers Tom Petta of Bigwig and Chris Barker of Anti–Flag at Soundmine Studios. The song will be re–released and be featured on the bands upcoming sophomore release due out in early 2008.

Connecticut based Redscroll Records has just signed Connecticut hardcore band Hostage Calm. The band, which features ex members of At All Costs, will be recording their full–length debut soon for a release in early 2008. The band's entire new demo is online now via MySpace or as a high quality download via MegaUpload.

A Great Big Pile of Leaves, Matt Turner, Sunday Driver

Pete Weiland and Tyler Soucy from Farewell to Arms have started a new project dubbed A Great big Pile of Leaves. The duo has a couple of new songs up on MySpace for your listening pleasure.

The new album from Florida–based acoustic–ska musician Matt Turner is available free for download via his official website. The record is titled Matt Turner is important and runs 13 tracks.

Miami, FL–based Sunday Driver will be releasing a new 5 song EP in November via Gainesvile, FL's Arkain Records. A title for the release, produced by Paul Trust (Say Anything, Diecast), has yet to be announced. It follows up 2003's Doghouse released A Letter To Bryson City. Another Illinois–based band, Mars Needs Cheerleaders, has posted some music online. The group plays a mix of melodic metal and hardcore. You can hear two of their songs from their upcoming full length at their MySpace page.

Milton Keynes, England based "pop hardcore" act Show Your Stripes have posted two new songs online from their upcoming 5 song EP. You can check them out via MySpace.

Casey Turner of California's Liquid Image is set out to release his first solo effort on this week. The project is falling under the name Stained Glass Saints. The 7 song EP will include the Liquid Image song "Near Miss" and self–produced recordings. You can check out music via MySpace.

Grace Gale, The Discord of a Forgotten Sketch, AXP

Colorado's Grace Gale have posted two new tracks to their MySpace page. Head there to check out the unmastered tracks, which are set to arrive on the band's upcoming 2008 release Stronger Faster Science.

Montreal's The Discord of a Forgotten Sketch are getting set to play the entire upcoming Exclaim Aggressive Tendencies Tour 2007 across Canada with the the Locust, Despised Icon and Child Abuse. The band is working on a new EP to be released in early November on New Romance For Kids Records, described as "lounge jazz meets Black Flag's Process of Weeding Out meets Albert Ayler's Spiritual Unity." Columbia, South Carolina four piece Baumer has posted the new song "In Your Stead" via their PureVolume site.

Portland, Maine's Reunion has posted the song "First Things First" from their upcoming self-titled EP. The song was recorded in Amherst, Massachusetts at Dead Air Studios. The release is due out in October on Flight Path Records.

Mad Harris, (Damn) This Desert Air, A Plea For Purging

Trinidad and Tobago's Mad Harris claim to combine the "spirit of Punk Rock and the pure sexuality of Caribbean music." You can check out music from their new four song EP Rough Pumping via PureVolume or MySpace.

(Damn) This Desert Air, featuring members of Instruction, Nora, Elemae, Ex Number Five and Errortype:11, have swapped out one of their guitarists, adding Shawn Reams (ex-Merciana) to the fold. The band's debut show is set for September 29th, 2007 at the Court Tavern in New Brunswick, NJ. A video is also planned for the song "Calling Orion" with director Michael Mead. Saviours, Sounds of Goodbye, The Lives of Famous Men

Oakland metal act Saviours have signed to New York City's Kemado Records. The band is preparing a new album to be completed this September and released next February. They're recording with Joe Barresi (Melvin, Kyuss, Tool) at A&M Henson Studios in LA with artwork by Joe Petangno (Motorhead). A new one-sided 12" EP entitled Cavern Of Mind will be out in the fall as well. Examples of the band's past work can be found via MySpace.
