Filthy Thieving Bastards, which features songwriting duo Johnny Bonnel and Darius Koski (Swingin' Utters) has set a November 8th release date for their upcoming sophomore full length. Joining the band again will be bassist Spike Slawson of Me First and the Gimme Gimmies, and drummer/producer Randy Burk. Making a special appearance on the album will be Peter "Spider" Stacy of the Pogues.

The album, titled My Pappy Was a Pistol will again be released on BYO. The label previously issued their debut, A Melody Of Retreads And Broken Quills.
