My Chemical Romance has unveiled the winners of their latest charity project contest. The band along with Fuse solicited fans to design an exclusive T-shirt with proceeds to go to Toys for Tots and MusiCares.
Toys for Tots is a charitable organization which provides toys to children whose parents cannot afford to buy them gifts during the winter holiday season. The organization was founded in 1947 by Major Bill Hendricks. MusicCares is a charity formed by the Recording Academy also responsible for the Grammys.
The T-shirt is the third major charitable project undertaken by the popular New Jersey-based band. Recently, the band performed with Lifetime at a Shirts for a Cure showcase. Before that, they released a limited edition "Prom Knight" jacket to benefit Boarding For Breast Cancer.
