Anonymous writes that Albany NY's Third 2 None are scheduled to play a showcase in NYC in front of various major and indie label reps. The Showcase is set for Oct. 23rd @ Downtime in NYC @ 8pm. Its open to the public and all are welcome to go and support the band.

Anonymous writes us that Longfellow has broken up due to Tom joining Papa Roach. The record that NooNoo Records was going to release is therefore being scrapped. The former members are forming a new band and will have info available soon.

Anonymous writes us that Brooklyn's Clearview 77 has landed a spot on the cable network TNN. The band will be covering "Nobody Does It Better" for an upcoming James Bond special, as well as shooting a video next week.

Anonymous writes us that Chapel Hill grindcore band Boston Butt Rockets have hung up their spurs. Their last show will be on September 30th at the Onion in Chapel Hill. All fans of the spastic metallicore band featuring Zach Blalock on drums and Brian Burns on vocals are encouraged to attend. Admission will be free if you dress as your favorite member of the Misfits.
