Morrissey has cancelled a second tour this year due to illness. This time, it was his South American dates which got the axe, due to - let's say - ebola.

Actually, South American newspapers like this one noted that Morrissey and much of his crew got food poison or "severa intoxicación alimenticia" as it is more poetically described in Spanish. New dates are promised soon.

In other news, the singer received a £10,000 settlement after the Smiths song, "Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want" was used by in a commercial for TV chef Gordon Ramsay. He has donated the settlement to PETA who are using it as part of a campaign against foie gras.
