Choking Victim are currently in the middle of their reunion tour in their Sturgeon-Baillie-Skwert formation. On Saturday night, the band played Mr. Small's in Pittsburgh. (Bassist Shayne Webb also played a song with the band). Near the end of the band's set, vocalist Scott Sturgeon announced that the band will be recording a live album. He also mentioned that the band had been working on a new song. Although the song did not have finished lyrics, the band played the insturmental part of it at the show. Choking Victim released their only album, No Gods / No Managers in 1999, after breaking up.
